After many years in a professional career, I decided to explore a new pathway and pursue my interest and  appreciation of the creative arts.

 

The obsession to create something beautiful is what motivates me. It is a huge source of inspiration when someone gets moved and transported when viewing my art.

"I began by producing more realistic images, but have evolved to explore mixed media and abstraction.I mainly work with acrylics, and use layers of paint to create texture and depth. 

I enjoy creating multi-layered surfaces with various mediums, using techniques such as scraping, sanding, glazing and then painting yet another layer over that which lies below. This results in works of great depth and visual interest.
